You will need to access this account every year to re-new your clearance. -Choose School Employee NOT governed by School Code for your reason.
How to Request. You can request a Child Abuse History Clearance online or through the mail. Online Submission. Child Abuse History Certification requests can be submitted and paid for online through the Child Welfare Information Solution (CWIS) self-service portal.

Clearance results will be mailed to you within 14 days from the date that the clearance application is received. There will be no replacements after 90 days.
