To purchase a PATH SmartLink Card, you may do one of the following: Complete an online request form. Print and complete the downloadable mail-in request form. Visit the blue SmartLink Card Vending Machines at these PATH stations: Newark, World Trade Center, Journal Square, 33rd Street, Exchange Place, Pavonia/Newport.

To confirm that your purchase was handled properly by the PATH SmartLink SM system, please call or e-mail the SmartLink SM Service Center, and provide your SmartLink SM Card serial number (printed on the back) and the date, time, station name, and vending machine number where you made the purchase.
Registered SmartLink cardholders should call PATH immediately at 1-800-234-PATH/7284 and follow the prompts for the SmartLink Card. Hours of operation are weekdays, 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. All other times, please leave a message or email us at [email protected] .
SmartLink card can be purchased via the SmartLinkSM Card Dispensers (33rd Street, Hoboken, Journal Square, Newark, World Trade Center). Zero trip and 20 trip cards ($57.00 (20 trips at $2.60 each, plus a $5.00 card fee) are also available for purchase online on the PATH website.
You may notify the SmartLink Customer Service Center by using the Replacement Card feature in your online account or by calling the SmartLink Customer Service Center at 800 234-PATH (7284) and select the option for SmartLink. A $5 card replacement fee will apply.
In order to sign up for "Automatic Replenishment", first you need to sign up for SmartLink Web Account. To add trips to your SmartLink Card online at any time, simply set up the "One-Time Replenishment" feature and choose a "trip product" (10, 20, or 40 trips, or 30 day pass) you would like to add.
