5 kwi 2019 · Only bought one m39 from Burns, a 41 straight stock Sako. Since they new it was antique they had to have checked the tang. It was missing shims that were there recently based on marks in the grease under the woodline.

Pat Burns and Finnish M39's. I've been looking online to purchase a Finnish M39. It's my first gun and of course want to make sure I know what I'm getting since, being a college student, 400 dollars+ is a lot for me. I don't want to make any mistakes.
19 lip 2013 · Good ol' Pat Burns apparently dug farther back into her seemingly endless supply of M39's, and came out with a bunch more for sale. They range from shabby to really expensive in condition.

6 mar 2010 · Well guys im sold, I ordered one from Pat Burns, a 1942 "B" Unissued, 100% blue, new bore, matching bolt and a real nice transitional stock in new condition that is very clean. this one should start me out pretty good on M39 ownership
12 kwi 2019 · I consistently won a lot of gold medals at Perry with an 03a3, the best I won with a M39 was a bronze. Either would be ok battle rifles. Sorry to ramble on so but this is all surplus stuff.

They kept quite a decent amount to stay in operation for a while.
