Past Perfect is a pretty standard collections Management System for small museums. I personally find the interface pretty easy to use. It has seprate catalogs for objects, archives, photos and books. It shouldn't be too hard to learn to use. My only advice is applicable to any cms, double check your work and save/backup often.
