21 gru 2019 · I've found that there a few games on the Game Pass with this issue, but not many. The only fix I've found is to either change the display resolution prior to launch, or launch the game, alt-tab back to the desktop and change the resolution there. Then set the resolution in the game to 1920x1080.
For some reason, it just refused to do it in this game when it's in borderless windowed mode even if I set gsync to both windowed and full-screen mode. I just managed to get it to work by enabling full-screen mode via the .ini file using this guide:
When I run the game, I can only play on a small screen. Pressing F1 and ticking “Launch game on fullscreen” or “Alt+enter” don’t work. The only leads Ive found is to download the plugin “Fullscren++” by Zeus81.
There is a widescreen mod out for the game by HenryJK on github, https://github.com/HenryJk/PvZWidescreen And for achieving 1080p you could use a program like lossless scaling to improve the visuals even if its not as good as native res.
