I use Garrison for almost all class II, but that super tight Palodent clamp is great for that weird canine-premolar embrasure (works great for both the DL on the canine and the MO on the premolar). Even weirder, I use the Palodent wedges for my Garrison setups.
I thought I liked palodent but after garrison 3d with their compositing wedges I never looked back. Better anatomy contour, extra wide ring and the wedge doesn't tear up gums as much. Fins prevent band from slipping.
Tabs on matrices were not particularly appreciated by several evaluators. Rings may not fit all teeth. Small wedges may be overly flexible. Rings are expensive. Kit is too large. BOTTOM LINE Basically the V3 system in blue, which means contacts are virtually automatic, but the tabs on the matrices can be annoying and the tackle box is way too big.
The selection of matrix sizes and shapes and the new ring clamp style were highly rated. The resultant proximal contacts and contours were very good. Removal of the matrices after filling placement is not a problem.

Almost perfect curvature and stiffness, tight rings, three sizes. Weaknesses The larger Plus size is not very useful. BOTTOM LINE The original sectional matrix system and is still the favorite of many, but other versions have overtaken it.
