For more than 40 years, courses of this design conducted by Mr. Brown have served as the “gold Standard” for short term education in echocardiography and cardiac Doppler. They have now gained a similar reputation in carotid ultrasound in labs that also perform cardiac studies.
Students will analyze approximately 300 echoes during the course — of widely varied data quality — to develop skills in quality control and a basic understanding of interpretative parameters with data similar in quality to that found in most labs on a day to day basis.
