10 kwi 2023 · If you want to add Yahoo Mail to Outlook using POP protocol, you need to set up the account manually since automatic setup supports IMAP only. Open Outlook and click on the File button. From the Info section, click on Add Account button. A dialog box will open where you need to enter the Yahoo email address.
Within POP and IMAP Account Settings, fill out Your Name and full Email Address. For Server Information, select IMAP for Account Type. Incoming mail server should be set to imap.mail.yahoo.com, and Outgoing mail server (SMTP) should be set to smtp.mail.yahoo.com.
