I went to buy some starting supplies and found Walmart had a new 36” with omnivore plate and 34000BTUs for $100 less (no hood). I saw a YouTube video mentioning how the Omnivore heated and seasoned more evenly and to the edges.

The omnivore has been great for me, personally. I’ve had about 20 cooks so far to include two separate seasonings (3-4 rounds/each), and still on my second tank of propane. Whereas my friend also has a 36” non-omnivore, and has already been through multiple tanks in far less cooks.
