The Red chinchompa hunting ground is a small dungeon located south of Feldip Hills, just south of the Hunting expert, who sells the Hunter cape. The cave is guarded by another Hunting expert and will only allow entry to the cave after completing the hard Western Provinces Diary.
The chompy grind is pretty short if you do the optimal way west of castle wars. Plus you get chally and elite void access. Just do it. pretty sure the area you unlock after sote is better.

Hey, just unlocked the private red chin area for Western Provinces Hard. Looked on youtube for a guide, only really found one, directing me to the northwest side of the cave to trap 2 chin spawns. Is this the location?

Red chinchompas are very widely used for quickly levelling up Ranged, and players will make most of their money from Hunter by catching them. A popular place to hunt them is south of the fairy ring (code AKS) by the south-western corner of the map.
