Certain clues will require items that need a certain skill requirement in order to wear, wield or access. The table below shows the highest skill requirement, in order to complete every medium clue. Quest skill requirements are not noted in this table.
Medium Maps. Category: Treasure Trails. Map clues are an image of a location the player needs to search to advance along their trail. Maps are found across all clue scroll difficulties. They are rough pictures of a very local area. If the map leads to an X, the player needs to take a spade to the place indicated on the map with the X and dig there.
Easy clue scrolls can be between 2-4 clues long with few or no quest requirements. Medium clue scrolls can be between 3-5 clues long with some quest requirements. Hard clue scrolls can be between 4-6 clues long, with multiple enemies to defeat and can have high-levelled quest requirements.

Each stash requires a hammer, saw, 2 oak planks (plank type changes depending on clue level), and 10 of any type of nail. Press CTRL + F (might only work on chrome) and type 2 on this page to find the location and items needed for every medium clue. A list of all emote items can be found here.
