Does anyone have any helpful tips for lasting longer there? I don't have completely bis gear (karils instead of arma for example) but recently i was told that you can do an entire task in 1 inv if you bring alchs, which rules out the use of ancients. TLDR: what can i do to sustain myself longer at kraken before i have to bank and spend another 25k?
Old School RuneScape. The Kraken is very weak to Magic, even though it uses Magic as its attack style. It is highly resistant to Ranged and immune to Melee, due to the fact that it cannot be reached by Melee attacks. Due to these mechanics, Magic is the only way to kill the Kraken effectively.
Inventory setup should be like: Rune pouch of Blood, Death, and Chaos. TP out. fishing explosives. Charged Staff (Trident of Seas or Swamp). Wield your ancient staff. Your normal kraken gear. Rest Sharks (or monkfish, karambwan, idfk what you have it doesn't really matter). Swap to your ancient staff whenever your health dips.
Having 1-3 tentacles up doesn't effect the damage you can deal, but for AFK purposes, it's best to hit just one so that you're in combat at least, allowing you to AFK longer.
The Kraken is a stronger and larger version of the cave kraken. It requires level 87 Slayer to kill and cannot be boosted. Located at the Kraken Cove, it can only be attacked if the player has cave krakens as a Slayer task, which also requires level 50 Magic.
OSRS Kraken Strategy Guide. To start the Kraken fight, you have two options: Fishing Explosive: Use a fishing explosive on the large whirlpool. This will instantly awaken the Kraken, and you'll hear an impact audio cue indicating that it's active. Attacks will register even if the Kraken hasn't visually emerged.
