17 lip 2024 · On December 21, 2023, the President signed Executive Order (E.O.) 14113 (88 FR 89259), which implemented pay adjustments for certain Federal civilian employees in January 2024. E.O. 14113 provides an overall average pay increase of 5.2 percent for the statutory pay systems.

On December 21, 2023, OPM issued a memorandum (CPM 2023-20)7 on the 2024 pay adjustments. The memorandum transmitted Executive Order 14113 and provided the 2024 salary tables, locality pay areas and percentages, and information on general pay administration matters and other related guidance.
This table shows the base pay amounts for all General Schedule employees based on the 2024 GS Pay Scale, as published by the Office of Personnel Management. General Schedule base pay tables are revised yearly, effective each January, to reflect inflation and increasing costs of living.
