26 kwi 2022 · After the update, I've noticed that my private OpenVPN tunnel is not working anymore in the new update, in Ubuntu 20.04 was working flawlessly. Trying the same imported configuration on Windows or on my other machine with Ubuntu 20.04 I'm still able to connect.

19 lut 2024 · If you update your version of Ubuntu you should also get a newer version of OpenVPN. Even Ubuntu 20.04 which is the oldest supported one has OpenVPN 2.4.7. 10 maj 2022 · UPDATE WITH SOLUTION: IP-Vanish have returned with a temporary solution until they can update their certificates. 1: Add the VPN connection as normal using the Network Manager GUI. 2: Edit the connection file in /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/(connectionname).nmconnection where (connectionname) is the name of your VPN conection
24 sty 2021 · after which dhcp address is updated and routes are added, vpn connects, my ip address changes and can access both vpn-lan and internet. I've tried using both NetworkManager and running openvpn from cli but that doesn't seem to change much.
