19 kwi 2022 · This article provides analysis with a free and open source python script to collate all journals with impact factors with the now more than 12,000 OA journals that are truly platinum OA (neither the author nor the readers pay for the peer-reviewed work).
Open access journals exclusively contain articles that are accessible and reusable free of charge, without restrictions, immediately upon publication.
As one of the largest open access publishers in the world we are enabling a transition to open access at scale. Nearly all our 2,900 journals enable open access publishing and more than 800 of these are fully open access. In 2023 we published more than 190,000 open access articles.
