If the attachment sender used OneDrive or another cloud storage option, any changes you make to the attachment are automatically saved. If the sender didn't use a cloud storage option, use the drop-down arrow to the right of the attachment and choose Save to OneDrive.

To fix outgoing attachment issues, use the "Home" or "Insert" tab to attach files, drag and drop your files, and change your file extension so Outlook won't block it.
5 kwi 2023 · This is because attachments in Outlook.com automatically take up space in OneDrive. So, like me, if you have lots of attachments in your e-mails, you are likely to fill up the much smaller OneDrive storage before the Outlook.com storage fills up.
25 mar 2019 · When I sent out my daily e-mail I select Insert->Attach File->Browse Web Locations->Select OneDrive-> and select a file from my OneDrive folder to share as a link. However, as of the past week this process fails to actually attach the link to the e-mail.
19 mar 2024 · If you can’t see attachments in an email you received, close Outlook and re-open it. Sometimes this can force the email client to redownload the files from the server. Refreshing the app is also helpful or you're unable to attach files to an email you want to send.
