19 paź 2017 · Weightlifting was on the programme of the Games of the I Olympiad in Athens in 1896, (included in the gymnastics programme). The sport was not staged at the Games in Paris in 1900, but was re-included for the Games in St Louis in 1904 (in the athletics programme), then disappeared again in 1908 and 1912.
