I decided to try out birdhouses after the new update and was pleasantly surprised. Using yew logs, I got 14 bird nests, 4080 hunter xp, 1 willow seed, 1 apple tree seed, 1 acorn, 1 orange tree seed, 4 gold rings, 1 ruby ring and 220 feathers in literally less than 2 minutes of playtime.

Similar to Farming Runs, birdhouses can be emptied every 50 minutes, giving you a big chunk of experience for doing so.
Birdhouses are a great way to collect birds nests and various seeds and rings. It is also the only method to collect bird's eggs for the chance at the evil chicken outfit pieces. All birdhouses take the same amount of time (50 minutes).
Each Birdhouse gives you a chance at a maximum of 1 seed nest and that chance is determined solely by Hunter level. At 99 Hunter, each birdhouse has a 78.52% chance of giving a seed nest. The chance at additional nests (ring, egg, or empty) is determined by both Hunter level and birdhouse tier.
