Bird house trapping is a Hunter technique that is used to catch birds. With this technique the player sets up bird houses on Fossil Island and fills them with seeds.

SETUP: You need to take the following items : Herb or Hop Seeds* , Hammer , Chisel , Clockwork* and Logs . *If you use seeds below Ranarr or Wildblood you need 10 of each above these you only need 5 seed each Birdhouse.
This guide assumes having 99 Hunter, setting redwood bird houses, and wearing a strung rabbit foot, although the latter only slightly increases profits. There are 4 birdhouse space locations, all located on Fossil Island: two are in the Verdant Valley, one is in the north of the Mushroom Forest, and one is at the entrance to the Tar Swamp. All spaces can be quickly reached using the Mycelium Transportation System.
