20 sie 2020 · I have done bootcamp on Windows 10, and I cannot seem to get it to detect my external display. it is an hdmi display connected through a thunderbolt dock. I have tried using an adaptor, to no avail. I have updated drivers, tried using old ones, reinstalling bootcamp utilities, etc. none of it worked.
9 cze 2017 · I've got an old iMac (mid-2010 model) but I don't want to use it directly. I appreciate its display and audio so it sounds good if it can be turned into a simple monitor. My primary Windows 10 PC is capable of outputting video through HDMI and Mini DisplayPort.
10 wrz 2017 · You need the following to use Target Display Mode: A Mac notebook or desktop with a Mini DisplayPort or Thunderbolt port. If your Mac has Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports, you can connect it using the Apple Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter.
6 paź 2021 · USB ports get passed to the USB driver in Windows, and it works properly. The Ethernet/TB ports require other drivers. If the hardware on the PC cannot understand encapsulated TB protocol(s) over PCIe or a USB-bridge, you may have an issue. Can you check if the Ethernet port on the Display works?
27 sie 2024 · Step 1. Turn on both computers and connect the iMac to PC. Plug one end of the Thunderbolt cable or Mini DisplayPort cable into the iMac and the other end to your Windows computer. If your Windows computer doesn't have those ports, you can easily get an adapter. Step 2. Enter the Target Display Mode on iMac.
27 cze 2020 · I have a Early 2013 Macbook Pro running Catalina and Windows 10 (Bootcamp 6.0). I recently obtained a Caldigit TS3 docking station and connected it to my MBP with an Apple TB3-to-TB2 adapter. I connected my HDMI monitor to the Displayport on the TS3 with an active DP-to-HDMI adapter.
