The original Mitchell School was built in 1905. In 1965 a new Mitchell School was constructed on the same site. While both schools were used for a period of time, the older, wooden structured Mitchell School was torn down in 1979.
Old Ohio schools that are either abandoned, boarded up or deteriorating. Some of these may in fact still be used now for other purposes or for storage, but if it at least looks old and somewhat decrepit, I put it here. One photo per school, so they should all be different.

Welcome to Horace Mitchell Primary School. We are a Pre-K-3 school located in beautiful Kittery Point, Maine. We have an enrollment of approximately 300 students and a staff of over 55 full time faculty members that provide a full range of services and curricula to our student body.
