It's a complex question but I noticed that Youtube often contains how to write female characters correctly compared to the male ones. However, there are dozens of action movies (especially the old ones) that contain male characters with these types of characteristics. Why is that?
I was particularly intrigued by the female character. The premise of the show allowed her to stray from the strict traditional trope she was playing and show off her acting range and get to do off the wall fun stuff.
