25 maj 2023 · A fishing line size chart provides comparative data, including PE number, line diameter, and strength (often as mono lb and braid lb tests). This information helps anglers choose the right line based on targeted fish species, fishing location, and fishing style.
The document provides charts with information about line sizes for Japanese braid fishing line and nylon monofilament line. It lists the diameter and pound test ratings for different levels of the line material's PE/line number ratings.
7 sty 2020 · As a general rule of thumb: Advertised breaking strains are set at ten times the PE rating (so, a line with PE rating 5 will break at 50 lbs. at the very least), although most lines, including premium ones, almost always test well above these numbers.
14 gru 2021 · The diameter is .25mm and it’s rated as 20 lb. test. However, this chart from James tackle shows that .25mm line should break around 45-50 lbs! Now, I understand that a pound test rating is the minimum breaking strength of a line.
