Our Mission. The agency licenses, permits, and oversees pharmacists and pharmacies, as well as the distribution system where there is the sale, delivery, or distribution of prescription drugs, medical gases, durable medical equipment, and legend devices.
In order to reciprocate to Arkansas, the applicant must have an active, original pharmacist license in any state other than California and must have been licensed for at least six months. (If reciprocating from a California license, the pharmacist license must have been issued on or after January 1, 2004).
Rule Updates. The rules that were approved in February 2022 eliminate the need for the Board to license these additional endorsements for pharmacists : Administering Immunizations, Nursing Home Consultants, and Disease State Management.
