To reset your game to default right click on Oblivion in Steam and select delete content, then find any remnant files in your steamapps common folder. Delete the Oblivion folder to be sure the mod and anything it altered is erased.
There is a default .ini file in Oblivion root directory: "Oblivion_default.ini". On a Windows machine when the user first starts a game, this file is copied into the user's newly created "My Documents\My Games\Oblivion\" directory as "Oblivion.ini", which is then used for that user.

6 lis 2018 · Your Oblivion.ini file is found in your My Games folder, not your Oblivion folder. The Oblivion_default.ini file doesn't actually do anything and is there as a reference for ini tweakers. When you launch Oblivion or the Oblivion launcher, it generates a new ini file if it doesn't detect it.
Oblivion Keeps Resetting Graphics and INI File. Guys, I am really struggling. I have installed zero mods, clean install, and the game keeps bothering me. Every time I launch it, it resets all the settings along with the ini file in the mygames directory. What do I do?
Whenever I try to change any graphics setting in the launcher, it just returns to the medium preset (It doesn't recognize my descrete graphics card, so it sets meduim graphics and 640:480 resolution as a default. I have a laptop btw).
