5 kwi 2010 · It sounds like OBSE is not installed in the same folder as Oblivion.exe. Right click on your Oblivion desktop shortcut and select "Properties". A window will open with three tabs at the top name "General", "Shortcut" and "Compatibility".
7 mar 2020 · I've been trying for hours to play oblivion. i downloaded yesterday and started up the game. i tried creating a save file so the oblivion documents folder was created to mod the game. the folder was not created. i then spent the next 6 hours scouring the internet to find a solution.
I am trying to install various mods but almost all require OBSE and when I try to run obse it just says it cannot find oblivion.exe when it's definitely in the same folder... i have tried multiple versions of obse.
Look in the game folder, see if the executable is there. You can right click Oblivion in steam, hover over manage, and click Browse Local Files to get there quickly.
Right-Click Oblivion in your steam list, select properties, go to local files tab. Press verify integrity of game cache. Wait till this has run through and downloaded the missing files. Use this if not even the launcher appears or if you get “game not available” messages.
19 cze 2020 · I have copied the 3 .dll files to the installation folder and the OBSE folder to the Data folder with the .ini file inside it. I have Steam overlay active and running properly on the game. I have tried launching both the Oblivion.exe file independently and from within my Steam library.
CTD on Startup usually indicates a missing master or a bad Oblivion.ini setting. Whenever troubleshooting crashes, try regenerating a fresh Oblivion.ini. Reinstalling Oblivion will not overwrite an existing Oblivion.ini, so clear it out along with the My Games\Oblivion folder for a clean sweep.
