18 lip 2017 · To get a complete uninstall, you need to first remove it as usual through Steam and then delete the install folder itself under ../SteamApps/common/ to remove any remaining mods. Once that's done, delete all the Oblivion folders under My Documents, especially any that are associated with a manager.
1 mar 2009 · DO NOT delete the Oblivion.exe or the Oblivion folder as that will cause problems when you try to uninstall or reinstall - allow the game uninstaller to take care of it. Uninstalling Oblivion - you gotta remove it completely before you can reinstall it.
The default install folder is C:\Program files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion so use Explorer to navigate to the Bethesda Softworks folder and then delete the Oblivion folder. If you want to delete your save games as well they're stored in C:\Users\ \My Documents\My Games\Oblivion.
The only consistent work around I've found to my game not crashing on start up is deleting my oblivion folder in my documents directory. But I have to delete it every time I launch the game which is becoming tediius. I'd rather not have to open that file and delete it then redo all my settings.

A solution someone said worked was to disable OneDrive sync for oblivion and to make sure your saves are in the default save location, [C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves], and make sure the .ini reflects that.
19 wrz 2023 · When I checked the My Games/Oblivion/ Saves all the save files are there. I need help with this because I dont want to start a new game. I tried deleting my Oblivion profile from Vortex and readding it but its still not showing the save file in the game itself. 0 comments. Best.
