18 lip 2017 · To get a complete uninstall, you need to first remove it as usual through Steam and then delete the install folder itself under ../SteamApps/common/ to remove any remaining mods. Once that's done, delete all the Oblivion folders under My Documents, especially any that are associated with a manager.
21 lip 2009 · NOTE: Deleting Local Content won't work, you HAVE to remove ALL files for oblivion before installing it again. For the disk version of oblivion, I think it automatically comes with a file that lets you uninstall it, so follow the instructions on that and it should uninstall.
The default install folder is C:\Program files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion so use Explorer to navigate to the Bethesda Softworks folder and then delete the Oblivion folder. If you want to delete your save games as well they're stored in C:\Users\ \My Documents\My Games\Oblivion.
You will be moving the Oblivion/Oblivion Mods folder and a configuration files which can be exported, possibly along with a few other configurable files. Uninstall all mods installed with utilities (i.e., deactivate all OMODs, uninstall all packages in BAIN).
The only consistent work around I've found to my game not crashing on start up is deleting my oblivion folder in my documents directory. But I have to delete it every time I launch the game which is becoming tediius. I'd rather not have to open that file and delete it then redo all my settings.
3 gru 2023 · When the game loads, it first checks the data folder for meshes and textures and loads them, if a file for a mesh or texture is not found in the data folder, then it's default file located within a .bsa is loaded instead.
