7 mar 2020 · I've been trying for hours to play oblivion. i downloaded yesterday and started up the game. i tried creating a save file so the oblivion documents folder was created to mod the game. the folder was not created. i then spent the next 6 hours scouring the internet to find a solution.
7 wrz 2017 · I've unselected "hide extensions for know file types" in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion folder, and searched for it in my whole C: drive to no avail. I've run the game multiple times, changed the graphics settings, and is all working normally, but it still does not appear in the folder.

Go to your oblivion folder (where Oblivion.exe and OblivionLauncher.exe are) and select the address bar and copy it. (it'll be something like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\oblivion unless you installed it to an SSD or something)

A solution someone said worked was to disable OneDrive sync for oblivion and to make sure your saves are in the default save location, [C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves], and make sure the .ini reflects that.
I am trying to install various mods but almost all require OBSE and when I try to run obse it just says it cannot find oblivion.exe when it's definitely in the same folder... i have tried multiple versions of obse.
