7 mar 2020 · I've been trying for hours to play oblivion. i downloaded yesterday and started up the game. i tried creating a save file so the oblivion documents folder was created to mod the game. the folder was not created. i then spent the next 6 hours scouring the internet to find a solution. i allowed oblivion administration access as well as steam and tried again, nothing. i allowed oblivion to work ...
26 mar 2022 · 3.Oblivion.exe compatibility - depending on distribution and OBSE version you will need different obse_loader.exe, but in this case the loader should print another messages as well. 4.Somewhat bad install - double check if all OBSE exe files and libraries are present and they are copied to a right place. Timothy-Brisby. • 8 mo. ago. There is a way to get OBSE to launch properly from what I found. Find launcher_settings.cfg (in the content folder) and open it with notepad. Then you just change the Binary Path line to BinaryPath=obse_loader.exe. From there you just have to use the launcher.exe to get the game going but its been working great ...
EDIT: I have checked my other games, the saves appear to be fine. Nothing looks like its missing, even in skyrim. It's only oblivion. EDIT 2: I have uninstalled oblivion and deleted any remaining folders of it on my pc. Now that i have reinstalled it the game seems to be working fine. Saves are appearing again.
13 lut 2017 · James Mason : Hmm, if you go to the Oblivion install folder, and then open the Oblivion_default.ini folder, search for the line "SLocalSavePath=" what does it say after the equals sign? And is it the steam version or the retail one? SLocalSavePath=Saves\. its retail one, its not the steam version. 0.
25 gru 2019 · Now from obse_0021.zip, extract obse_1_2_416.dll and obse_editor_1_2.dll to the root directory of the game. (The folder that has Oblivion.exe) Then extract obse_loader.exe from obse_loader.zip --USE THIS WITH GOG VERSION, to the same folder. See Pic. You just need those 3 files.
Your saved games are located in your C:\\My Documents\\My Games\\Oblivion directory.
