7 mar 2020 · I've been trying for hours to play oblivion. i downloaded yesterday and started up the game. i tried creating a save file so the oblivion documents folder was created to mod the game. the folder was not created. i then spent the next 6 hours scouring the internet to find a solution.
There's a fresh backup available here; try to place it in Documents/my games/Oblivion and check if it helps.
You need to specify where your save folder is the oblivion.ini located in Documents\My Games\Oblivion or move your saves to the default location, Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves. At least, that is how it works normally for retail and steam versions. The default in the .ini is SLocalSavePath=Saves\.

2 lut 2022 · There is a way to get OBSE to launch properly from what I found. Find launcher_settings.cfg (in the content folder) and open it with notepad. Then you just change the Binary Path line to BinaryPath=obse_loader.exe
