24 gru 2021 · One way to solve this is to reinstall the game. On steam, verifying the game cache should have the same effect, otherwise you may have to completely remove oblivion and re-download. If you are comfortable with manually editing the registry file yourself then make sure the following registry entries exist:
You can fix this by manually adding / editing the registry key: open regedit.exe. go to (64bit): HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion. or (32bit) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion.
7 cze 2017 · I remember an issue that Oblivion crashed when I clicked "Play" in the launcher menu, but this is different from what you describe, and my issue was a temporary one, lasting one or two days, and I still don't know what caused it - probably related to my PC.
when I go into the launcher and press play, I get an error from the oblivion launcher that says "The Oblivion Launcher could not find the Oblivion game executable. Please reinstall Oblivion". this happens whether I click the shortcut or the launcher itself in the oblivion folder in the file explorer
Oblivion - Greyed out options or missing Play button in the launcher. This issue is caused by a missing registry key. Opening the GOG GALAXY application and using the Verify / Repair function from the Customize button (on the right of the play button) > Manage installation > Repair should fix it.
23 cze 2017 · In the folder-run launcher, if I click "play," it simply runs the greyed-out Oblivion.exe launcher-like menu. I should also note that the game will not Cloud Sync; it stays at 0% perpetually. In the past, I have had to turn off Cloud Sync to make it operate.
16 cze 2017 · Deleting the INI in the my games folder doesn't help as the game don't start. Clicking in the Oblivion Folder does the same result. Oblivion.EXE and Oblivion Launcher does nothing, it loads but nothing comes up.
