2 sie 2014 · I've recently uninstalled and I want to reinstall the game outside of program files but steam does not allow me to place it in another folder or perhaps I am just missing the browse button. All that comes up is a location in my program files and my external hardrive.
5 sty 2011 · The 'Oblivion Install Directory' Means the folder that the Oblivion is installed in (Directory=Folder) - look for a file called Oblivion. exe (NOT the ESM or ESP) and put it in the same folder. Link to comment
6 lis 2020 · If you are having an application error & you have your game installed in a different folder than where steam is installed, put a copy of steam.exe in oblivion's folder and try again. it should work this time.
11 sty 2015 · 1) You have to download the "Wrye Bash Standalone Executable" and NOT the installer. 2) Unpack it and move the "Mopy" -folder manually to the Oblivion main folder (where the "Oblivion.exe" file is located)
A solution someone said worked was to disable OneDrive sync for oblivion and to make sure your saves are in the default save location, [C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves], and make sure the .ini reflects that.
