A solution someone said worked was to disable OneDrive sync for oblivion and to make sure your saves are in the default save location, [C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves], and make sure the .ini reflects that.
7 mar 2020 · I've been trying for hours to play oblivion. i downloaded yesterday and started up the game. i tried creating a save file so the oblivion documents folder was created to mod the game. the folder was not created. i then spent the next 6 hours scouring the internet to find a solution.
Users can open the folder by entering %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Oblivion into Start>Run Note that this is typically a hidden folder. In Explorer, use Tools: Folder Options: View: Hidden Files and Folders to reveal hidden folders.
You need to specify where your save folder is the oblivion.ini located in Documents\My Games\Oblivion or move your saves to the default location, Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves. At least, that is how it works normally for retail and steam versions. The default in the .ini is SLocalSavePath=Saves\.

When I checked the My Games/Oblivion/ Saves all the save files are there. I need help with this because I dont want to start a new game. I tried deleting my Oblivion profile from Vortex and readding it but its still not showing the save file in the game itself
