17 maj 2022 · According to the generated OBSE log file, I am getting a message that says " Oblivion Reloaded failed...unable to load, missing dependent .dll file(s). This, despite the fact that the correct Oblivion Reloaded .dll file is indeed present in the Plugins folder of OBSE.
10 lip 2022 · might be missing some old libraries that the game needs and may have failed to install. go to folder...\steam\steam\apps\common\oblivion\directx and run dxsetup.exe with admin permission. use repair option if there is one. run game from game folder .exe and NOT from your steam library or an icon. sometimes an error msg appears not hidden by steam.
10 lis 2023 · Make sure you delete the entire Oblivion folder from "Documents". It's under "my games," I believe. If your .ini files from a past install are leftover, and had changes meant for some mod, it'll make your game crash on launch and do other weird stuff.

If you installed SI, but it's not from GoTY package, you need to get SI patch. - Note: If your OS is Windows Vista or later, installing your game other than the default folder is recommended to avoid UAC issues.

11 kwi 2021 · Oblivion not starting is almost always a registry issue. When you have Oblivion uninstalled run something like CCleaner to wipe out the registry entries.
