I am trying to install various mods but almost all require OBSE and when I try to run obse it just says it cannot find oblivion.exe when it's definitely in the same folder... i have tried multiple versions of obse.
21 lis 2016 · First make sure that you install OBSE into the Oblivion folder and not the Data folder. Extract these files into the oblivion folder. Data obse_1_2_416.dll obse_editor_1_2.dll obse_steam_loader.dll The obse_loader application is for the retail version. Make sure the Steam Community is enabled, then launch the game normally through Steam.
CTD on Startup usually indicates a missing master or a bad Oblivion.ini setting. Whenever troubleshooting crashes, try regenerating a fresh Oblivion.ini. Reinstalling Oblivion will not overwrite an existing Oblivion.ini, so clear it out along with the My Games\Oblivion folder for a clean sweep.

29 gru 2021 · Look in the game folder, see if the executable is there. You can right click Oblivion in steam, hover over manage, and click Browse Local Files to get there quickly.
11 kwi 2021 · Oblivion not starting is almost always a registry issue. When you have Oblivion uninstalled run something like CCleaner to wipe out the registry entries. Once that is done which will take a couple of minutes then you can reinstall and should have much better luck.
