It distinguishes two types of engine modifications: 1) Fix Fixes something that probably everyone would consider a bug. 2) Patch Changes something that may or may not be considered a bug but which I felt could be improved.

  2. Found this thread on steam. Sorry if I can't be of bigger help, I am not met with the situations in your Oblivion data folder and Oblivion's ini files. Once you try those, one of these solutions SHOULD fix your problem. If it does, then follow up what I said before with OBSE.

  3. 27 mar 2016 · My launcher is stuck on an infinite loop, repeatedly closing and launching itself but not the game. Unfortunately, this seems to be a randomly occuring problem without any definite fixes as it appears to also affect Steam. First try running the .exe file through the installation folder rather than Steam.

  4. - First, pause the update. - Go to the folder where you have Steam installed. For me that's: This PC / Local Disk (C) / Program Files (x86) / Steam. Yours might be somewhere else, but you get the idea. - Open the "Logs" folder. - You're going to open the "Content_Log" text document file.

  5. 4 lut 2016 · What happens if you go into your Oblivion\Data folder manually and double-click on Oblivion.exe? IMO it sounds like a shortcut problem. If you didn't delete your existing desktop shortcuts (including Steam's shortcut(s) for Oblivion) before you reinstalled, try that also.

  6. 19 cze 2024 · I’ve had the same CTD on startup a few days ago without oblivion reloaded but I managed to fix all the problems I had. Now none of those fixes works anymore. How did it alter my game files even though I use MO2, LOOT, xEdit, and WryeBash, and uninstalled and clean installed it?

  7. 15 cze 2019 · Oblivion Stutter Remover (OBSR) causes crashing now, as Windows 10 released an update that breaks a feature in the mods OBSE plugin .ini file. This is caused by "bHookCriticalSections" being set to 1.
