23 cze 2013 · I have recently bought Oblivion GOTY from steam but I couldn't find the data folder when i tried to install mods. There is no data folder in my program files or in my steam files. The game is installed and works perfectly.
13 lut 2015 · C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion by default if your using Win7 x64 C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion if your using 32-bit. Data folder will be in there.
Firstly, with Wryebash and Oblivion Mod Manager and the like, you will not need to personally mess with the data folder. These programs will add and remove files from the data folder by activating and deactivating the mods.
25 sty 2013 · Right-Click Oblivion in your steam list, select properties, go to local files tab. Press verify integrity of game cache. Wait till this has run through and downloaded the missing files. Use this if not even the launcher appears or if you get "game not available" messages. Restart Steam.
use Windows Explorer. expand My Computer. expand Local Disk C. expand Program Files. expand Bethesda Softworks. expand Oblivion. here you will find Data folder.
30 mar 2021 · Found this thread on steam. Sorry if I can't be of bigger help, I am not met with the situations in your Oblivion data folder and Oblivion's ini files. Once you try those, one of these solutions SHOULD fix your problem. If it does, then follow up what I said before with OBSE.
25 lip 2021 · UPDATE: well, after some very helpful replies, trying all i was instructed to do, messing around in deep settings, verifying files and more; it twas all for nothing. The issue evolved into crashing no matter the wait, rest, fast travel, save or anything else. Apparently I've had auto-save off for a while now, too.
