Firstly, with Wryebash and Oblivion Mod Manager and the like, you will not need to personally mess with the data folder. These programs will add and remove files from the data folder by activating and deactivating the mods. That's what makes them so great. Download mod Open downloads folder and drag archive into the wryebash tab called installers.
11 sie 2010 · Now, to fix your installation, you need to re-download those mods if you have deleted them, or just open them (the .7z/.zip/.rar or whatever) if you have not, and check to see what files those mods added to your Data directory.

If you used Steam delete your data folder and tell it to check the integrity of local files. It will download all the files the game is missing. Not sure exactly what your goal is... when you start the game launcher just click Data files and choose what mods to load.

6 lis 2011 · Back up your complete Oblivion install directory ( not just the Data folder, since there are folders like Oblivion/obmm that you need) as well as the My Documents/My Games/Oblivion folder which contains your savegames and the Oblivion.ini file.
