23 lis 2023 · Most mods can be copied/pasted from their download archives into the Data folder, within the Oblivion root folder, wherever you have installed it. Some, like utilities, go into the root. Your config file will generate within My Documents.

Oblivion on Windows 11. Game Question. Hey everyone. I'm playing the GOT version of Oblivion. My SO recently upgraded our laptop to Windows 11 and I want to reinstall the game due to mod problems and now I was wondering if it there will be compatibility issues. Thanks.

During the installation Oblivion creates two important folders: at one the install path entered in the wizard during installation, and the other in Documents/My Games.

The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic. meheezen Mar 26, 2023 @ 10:54am. some things to check: make sure you dont have your documents folder getting synced to onedrive. add windows defender exclusions for the game. delete the oblivion folder in "documents/my games"
