17 wrz 2012 · You can simply move the contents of the archive ("meshes", "textures", esp files) from your extraction folder into your "Data", folder when there's no "Data" folder needlessly wrapped around them. OBMM can decipher those package structures and locates the actual files and folders inside such a bogus "Data" folder.

12 lip 2013 · All of my mods are in the Oblivion data folder including in NMM. If I need to put my oblivion onto C:/games/Oblivion, but what about my mods on C:/Oblivion and the other files like OBSE, OBGE NifSkope do I need to copy them then put them onto C:/games/Oblivion too?
21 lip 2009 · Well, if you don't like a mod, or it conflicts with another mod, here is what you do, all you do is untick it from the data files, and it should deactivate it, to remove a mod completly, you have to go into your Oblivion/data/ and delete the .esp file for it.
I've tried moving my current Oblivion mod setup to my new Steam Deck, and I did so by copying the files from my desktop Data folder to the Data folder on my Deck's /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Oblivion directory.
Whereas if you manually install mods (dragging them to your data folder, replacing textures etc) you essentially are stuck with those mods unless you make backups of the to-be-altered files, and reimport those if you wish to deactivate it -- a.k.a. it's a mess, use the mod managers.
I ended up just installing it manually: Extract the rar somewhere, copy the extracted stuff to your Oblivion\Data folder. The folder with .esp's in it. Start Oblivion through steam, in the launcher click data files and check the boxes next to the unofficial .esp's.
20 lis 2018 · this is for automatically unzipping the files in to your \Oblivion\Data\ folder, which I NEVER do. You're bound to come across a mod that will not unzip correctly and you'll have loose files cluttering up your folders.
