What I did: 1.) Enable modding support for Oblivion in the xbox app. 2.) Download xOBSE from https://github.com/llde/xOBSE/ . I used version 22.5 at the time of writing. 3.) Copy obse_1_2_416.dll, obse_editor_1_2.dll, obse_loader.exe and the Data folder into C:\Program Files\ModifiableWindowsApps\Oblivion GOTY (PC)\Oblivion GOTY English. 4.)
use Windows Explorer. expand My Computer. expand Local Disk C. expand Program Files. expand Bethesda Softworks. expand Oblivion. here you will find Data folder.
5 cze 2010 · I have only had Oblivion IV for a few weeks and have found out that you can add Custom Content like on The Sims but it is called Data Files. I have downloaded a couple of Data Files from: http://www.tesnexus.com/ and none of them work.
If you want, you could move the Data folder to a temporary location. Then run the Setup from the disc and see if Oblivion auto-repairs. If it repairs itself, it will make a new Data folder...

When the game loads, it first checks the data folder for meshes and textures and loads them, if a file for a mesh or texture is not found in the data folder, then it's default file located within a .bsa is loaded instead.
