When the game loads, it first checks the data folder for meshes and textures and loads them, if a file for a mesh or texture is not found in the data folder, then it's default file located within a .bsa is loaded instead.
23 cze 2013 · I have recently bought Oblivion GOTY from steam but I couldn't find the data folder when i tried to install mods. There is no data folder in my program files or in my steam files. The game is installed and works perfectly.
11 sie 2014 · After you install Wrye Bash (and do get the stand-alone version) there will be a folder that appears called Oblivion mods wherever you have your steam games installed. When you open the folder you will see 2 folders, one called Bash Installers.
Check that you didn't make a double data folder (ie. copied to Oblivion/data/data instead of just Oblivion/data ) - Sometimes when copying it will place it into a new folder in data instead of merging into the existing data folder and then the game will not find the files.
5 gru 2022 · Try verifying your Oblivion installation (Oblivion library entry -> right click -> Properties -> Local Files, then select "Verify". When the verification and re-acquisition process of missing files is complete, please check the Oblivion\Data folder again. If your Oblivion\Data contains all these files, launch Oblivion.
27 gru 2013 · I know it's normally located in programfiles/bethesda/oblivion/data or something like that but I can't find any folders containing the data files. I have no folders that relate to Bethesda or 2k gaming and the only folder I have just contains the saves.
