I'm having an issue with my 4090 showing no output (just a black screen) when I power cycle the monitor. If I use the studio driver version 522.30 their isn't a problem, however any more recent driver (either game or studio) causes the problem.
29 wrz 2021 · The following are some basic troubleshooting steps to assist if you suddenly start to encounter corruption on your monitor, crashing while running games or application, system freezes or your computer randomly reboots.
The fix is very simple. All you have to do is to go to 'adjust desktop color settings' in the Nvidia .cpl, and at the bottom where it has 'Content type reported to the display' you have to change it to anything other than auto. I set it to 'full-screen videos', and the problem goes away with zero effect on anything else as far as I have seen.

16 kwi 2024 · The screen goes black. It comes back when I unplug and replug the display cable. A quick search led to the conclusion there are issues with dsc, however they seem to be only cases of a intermediary black screen, which is not my case where it stays like that.
