Do the following: Install Selector. Click on the object you are having difficulties with. You should receive an error log explaining the reason for the menu failure. Note that Selector may then allow the menu to display, regardless of the error. You should still report the error, just in case it is due to a larger problem. Read How To Upload.

This mod alters what happens when you click on an object in game. It changes how the menus are displayed, and whether a sim can be made active. A new interaction is added to the City Hall and Computer menus called "NRaas \ Selector" which can be used to bring up the settings for the mod.
