8 gru 2017 · I am explaining various factors affecting renal blood flow and glomerular filtration rate in this video. In previous video, we have already seen how afferent and efferent arteriolar resistance ...
A systematic approach to reading an Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) in 5 clear steps that will increase confidence in ECG interpretation. Primary reference recom...
Methodological ECG Interpretation. The ECG must always be interpreted systematically. Failure to perform a systematic interpretation of the ECG may be detrimental. The interpretation algorithm presented below is easy to follow and it can be carried out by anyone.
Date: Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Tests. Results. Why It Is Important. Serum Creatinine and Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR) CKD is an eGFR less than 60. eGFR estimates how well your kidneys are filtering blood. As kidney disease gets worse, the creatinine goes up and the eGFR goes down.
Diferent biomarkers quantify the amount of blood delivered to the kidney. Renal blood flow (RBF, expressed in mL/ min) measures the delivery of blood at the macrovascular level, whereas tissue perfusion (expressed in mL/min/100 mL) measures delivery to the capillaries at the microvascu-lar level.
16 lis 2023 · The purpose of this review is to assess the changes in RBF in response to a wide range of physiological confounders and derive practical recommendations on patient preparation and interpretation of RBF measurements with MRI.
