A qualified applicant with a disability who is otherwise eligible to take the bar examination, but who cannot demonstrate under standard testing conditions that they possess the knowledge and skills to be admitted to the Massachusetts bar, may request reasonable test accommodations.
FORM 1: APPLICATION FOR NONSTANDARD TEST ACCOMMODATIONS. NOTICE TO APPLICANT: This form is part of your request for test accommodations for the bar examination. This form and all other applicable forms and required documentation must be sent directly to the Board of Bar Examiners and must be received on or before the deadline:
Bar Admission. To become a licensed attorney in Massachusetts, you must meet the requirements and the qualifications established by the Supreme Judicial Court. A Petition for Admission to the Massachusetts bar by Examination, by Transfer of UBE Score or by Motion must be filed with the Supreme Judicial Court for The County of Suffolk.
The application for the July 2014 bar exam and applicable deadlines should be up on the BBE website in mid-March. The application requires disclosure of a lot of information, including listing every job you have had since your 18th birthday!

You need to pass the MA MPRE before you apply for the bar exam! Unlike most states, you are NOT able to apply for the bar exam and sit for the bar exam in MA if you cannot show a passing MPRE score.
Some jurisdictions, such as Massachusetts, require a passing score on file before you are allowed to apply for the bar exam. Other jurisdictions require a passing score before you are allowed to sit for the bar exam.
