17 gru 2020 · An FX lens is for a full frame camera (like the Z5), a DX lens is for a camera with a smaller APS-C sensor, which is 1.5x smaller than the full frame sensor. There are also two different mounts: the old F mount that the D3500 and D5100 use, and the new Z mount that the Z5 uses.
The 70-300 AF-P is really a good lens for the Z system with FTZ. I use mine on occasion and it has VR. my only other F lens if a 300mm f4 D AFS that works really well even with a 1.4x nikon converter. The 200mm f/2 is nice. I use the F mount 20mm 1.8G and it works great.
30 kwi 2021 · I have the FTZ adapter. I got it with the "Deal" on my Z50 ($99). I use it with both my Z50 and Z5 so I can use all my collection of F-mount lenses on either body. I also have the Fringer Canon EF to Nikon Z adapter which allows me to make use of some of my favorite Canon lenses on my Z's.

29 lut 2024 · The Z5 is also able to use F-mount lenses, which are made for use with Nikon’s DSLR cameras. For this, you need an adaptor such as the Nikon Mount Adapter FTZ II. The idea is that owners of older DLSR cameras can buy a Z camera and still use their old lenses.
I am looking for some recommendations on my first lens for a brand new Nikon Z5 that I recently purchased. I do have the FTZ adapter to go with it and have a budget of about $650. I like to shoot mainly landscapes and astrophotography but have started dabbling into street photography with a slight interest in portraits.
