  1. 19 lip 2010 · EN EL3e battery not charging. I've got 2 batteries for the D300, both EN EL3e's, and as I was changing batteries yesterday I noticed the 'fresh' battery had no charge. It had been fully charged and in my bag for about 4 weeks, a bit longer than the usual time.

  2. It's possible for batteries to reverse charge when depleted. There's a tiny bit of juice left but with the wrong polarity and the charger won't recognize them. There's techniques to resolve this but you'll need to look that up yourself and see if you're comfortable doing it.

  3. 23 mar 2009 · The way to check is to put a volt meter on the positive and negative pole of the battery after you charge it fully. It will probably give you a voltage that is lower than what is stated at the back of the battery pack case. I forgot off hand what that voltage is but it is probably 7.2 volt.

  4. 9 sty 2012 · The directions say that a new one won't hold a full charge for a few cycles but this one just won't hold. BTW it is a Nikon brand. I have tried taking it all the way down a couple of times and I have tried short charging it.

  5. 2 paź 2019 · I decided to drain one of the batteries down to depletion and then re-charge to full capacity. No problem there. Now when shooting and using the built-in flash, I looked at the battery power level indicator and it showed the battery to be at half power.

  6. Most of the time this is why Li based rechargeables show 0 volts. Just let them in the charger for a couple of hours, and they might start charging normally.
