The literature is now sufficient for an update. The aim of this expert panel guidelines is to evaluate the impact of different aspects of the management of women with severe preeclampsia on maternal and neonatal morbidities separately. The experts studied questions within 7 domains.
Recommendations for research. As part of the 2019 update, the guideline committee made 6 research recommendations on the management of pregnancy with chronic hypertension, pre-eclampsia, fetal monitoring, the use of antihypertensives in breastfeeding and advice and follow-up.
•NICE guideline (DG23) PlGF-based testing to help diagnose suspected pre-eclampsia (Triage PlGF test, Elecsys immunoassay sFlt-1/PlGF ratio, DELFIA Xpress PlGF 1-2-3 test, and BRAHMS sFlt-1 Kryptor/BRAHMS PlGF plus Kryptor PE ratio).
1 paź 2021 · R4.1 - In women with severe pre-eclampsia between 24 and 34 weeks of gestation and in the absence of signs of maternal or fetal seriousness (see R1.3), it is recommended to pursue pregnancy until 34 weeks of gestation to reduce neonatal morbidity without significantly increasing maternal morbidity.
